Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, person‑centred care delivery in line with CQC standards.
  • Ensure accurate assessments, care plans, and risk management.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
  • Oversee rostering to ensure safe and punctual care delivery.
  • Manage complaints, incidents, audits, and safeguarding.
  • Supervise, support, and develop office and care staff.
  • Ensure compliance, reporting, and high‑quality documentation.
  • Contribute to service growth and represent the branch at external meetings.

Essential Criteria

  • Kind, compassionate, professional, and an excellent communicator.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, Health & Social Care legislation, and best practice in domiciliary care.
  • Experience in assessments, risk management, and person‑centred care.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage staff performance.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills.
  • Level 3 qualification minimum; Level 5 or willingness to work towards it.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and Health & Safety.
  • Eligibility for CQC registration.

Desirable

  • Previous Registered Manager experience.
  • Train‑the‑Trainer qualification.
  • Knowledge of business management and customer service.
