Hartwell Automotive Group is a leading retail motor group in the UK, operating across 11 locations. We represent brands including BYD and hold Ford Authorised Repairer status. We are hiring a Service Technician to join our Watford dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times.
  • Repair, test and diagnose vehicle faults as required by the Service Manager and supervisory staff.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage.
  • Keep work areas clean, tidy, organised and safe from health and safety hazards.
  • Carry out work within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
  • Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements during work, including future servicing/repair needs.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • MOT Tester.
  • At least 2 years of experience after the qualifying period, working in a franchise dealership or similar environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
