We are seeking a qualified multi franchise Service Technician to join our dealership in Hemel Hempstead.

The Service Technician will report to the Service Manager and will be responsible for meeting both franchise and company standards in a service environment.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge – irrelevant of brand, to work at pace
  • A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level but level will be considered
  • Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
  • Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
  • Be Tech savvy with confidence in using an iPad
  • Must have experience as a commercial vehicle Technician (Ford experience preferred)
  • The Ideal Service Technician:

  • The ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles and brands
  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, which may include some warranty approved work in line with our brands (subject to experience / training level)
  • Be confident in MOT testing duties (if qualified)
  • Completing work from job cards and electronic write ups through franchise platforms
  • Electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC’s) and video health checks
  • Guide and Support Apprentice Technicians as and when required
