This is a full‑time, on‑site role in two of our sites one based in Grimsby and Abingdon for a Group Apprentice Warranty Administrator. The role involves assisting with the processing of warranty claims, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within manufacturer and company deadlines. The apprentice will help verify repair orders, check compliance with warranty policies, and liaise with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers to resolve queries.
Day‑to‑day tasks include data entry on internal and manufacturer systems, maintaining records, tracking claim status, and supporting the preparation of reports for the management team. The role also includes learning and applying warranty procedures, supporting the wider aftersales team, and participating in training and development activities to build knowledge of automotive warranty and dealership operations.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including accurate data entry, record‑keeping, and document management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with service teams, customers, and manufacturer representatives.
- Basic numerical skills and attention to detail to review invoices, repair orders, and warranty claim criteria.
- Comfort with IT systems, such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn dealership and manufacturer platforms.
- Interest in the automotive industry and willingness to develop knowledge of vehicle components, repair processes, and warranty terms.
- Ability to follow procedures, work to deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a busy aftersales environment.
