We are currently recruiting for the Sales Coordinator to join the team at Hartsfield Manor Hotel. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to begin their career in hospitality sales. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. The role is offered on a fixed term basis of 15 months - 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage event and function enquiries, delivering timely quotations and proactive follow-ups to convert interest into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate client requirements and client meetings to ensure seamless event planning and delivery.
- Maintain an accurate record of bookings and enquiries using emails, booking forms, meetings, Hotsoft PMS system and other IT platforms.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted outreach and relationship-building to drive revenue growth.
- Produce detailed function sheets to support the Operations and Sales and Events teams.
- Identify opportunities to optimise revenue growth.
- Update any operational spreadsheets used to track business regularly to forecast weekly and monthly figures.
- Support the planning and promotion of in-house events and external wedding and event exhibitions.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers and the food and beverage team to ensure high service standards.
- Manage enquiries across phone, email and online platforms in a professional and efficient manner.
