The Relationship Manager is responsible for coordinating between our clients, paraplanners and financial planners to deliver exceptional service in a professional and approachable manner.

Specific duties include:

  • Project managing the end-to-end financial planning process for new and existing clients

  • Annual review invitations
  • Updates on new business progress, top-ups, withdrawals etc.
  • Sending clients any reports or other documentation ahead of meetings
  • Welcoming clients to office-based meetings, ensuring everything is set up and runs smoothly
  • Creating, sending out and chasing Client Agreements and Invoices
  • Ensuring client files are complete and chasing any outstanding information or paperwork
  • Running electronic identification and address verification checks
  • Requesting feedback from clients via Google, Feefo and responding on behalf of the planning team
  • Onboarding clients onto our client platform (Insight) and dealing with any queries or problems

Why Hartsfield? At Hartsfield, we believe financial planning should unlock possibility, not cause anxiety. As an award-winning firm of Financial Planners, we live by our 3C principle: balancing Client success, Company growth, and Colleague well-being. Over the past two years, we’ve earned:

  • Feefo Platinum Status (2025) for maintaining a 4.9/5 Client satisfaction rating.
  • Professional Advisers Awards Winner (2023, 2024, 2025) for Best Advisers to Work For.
  • Bath Life Award (2024) "Financial Category" Winner, with further regional recognitions in 2025.

We foster a collaborative environment where your voice matters, professional growth is championed, and charitable initiatives—like our Three Peaks challenges—allow us to give back to the community.

Why you?

  • You’re a people person who prefers picking up the phone to sending an email
  • You take ownership end-to-end, prioritising ruthlessly to keep delivery on track and effective.
  • You want to make a difference to people’s lives and have people put their trust in you
  • You can multi-task and manage your own time effectively, balancing the commercial needs of the business alongside that of our clients
  • You have an incredible attention to detail
  • You can follow tried and tested processes when they work, but are not afraid to challenge the status quo and put forward your own ideas – because we believe there is always, always better.

£32,500-£37,500, depending on qualifications and experience

Bonus: After 12 months, a bonus is payable quarterly, based on outperformance against the Pod's quarterly initial fee income target.

Pension: 5% matched pension contributions.

Holiday: 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for every completed year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days).

Death in service

Dynamic Working: We recognise the importance of helping our Colleagues balance their work and home lives by offering flexible working arrangements that enable them to balance their work commitments with other priorities.

Study support: Full study support with professional qualifications, including all study materials provided by the company alongside paid study leave. We also make an exam mentor available to provide technical support and exam tips.
