Barrafina is a highly awarded Modern Spanish bar restaurant in London, serving the highest quality seasonal ingredients. The Sous Chef Role
- Experience of at least 2 years in a similar role at a fast paced and quality restaurant
- Provide supportive guidance and training to all Chefs and kitchen teams
- Coordinate and unify production, line cooking, food preparation and plating
- Run and lead positively a large team of Chefs
- Ensure communication between back and front of house
- Maintain operation and health and safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with Head Chef with specials on a weekly basis
- At times the role will require to step in and cover any junior position in the kitchen
- Provide levelâheaded and creative approach to people management
- Assist Recruitment needs, trials, onboarding, and drive staff retention
