Job Summary

The Junior Settlement Analyst is responsible for executing physical OTC settlement activities across multiple products and trading regions. This role ensures the timely and accurate verification of trade details, pricing, and settlement data while maintaining strong operational controls. The analyst serves as a subject-matter expert within the Settlements team and is expected to provide guidance, drive issue resolution, and identify opportunities to enhance processes and systems. The successful candidate demonstrates sound judgment, strong analytical ability, proactive problem-solving skills, and the capability to operate independently in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the verification and onboarding of new SSIs in Fenergo.
  • Prepare settlement packets for payment processing and cash forecasting, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor and confirm daily cash movements with counterparties; investigate and resolve cash breaks and settlement failures.
  • Execute complex OTC settlement analysis, including reconciliation, invoice generation and settlement confirmations.
  • Process FX settlements as required.
  • Identify process improvement initiatives; contribute to automation efforts and support system enhancement testing.
  • Participate in special projects, including new product onboarding.
