About the Role

  • Entails the design and delivery of high-quality inclusive theoretical and practical teaching, to meet learning outcomes for modules on the RAMP accredited MSci Veterinary Physiotherapy and wider related topics.
  • Provide student‑focussed academic personal tutoring, supported by on‑campus specialist centres, including the Achievement and Success Centre and the Employability, Skills and Careers Team, to develop industry‑ready graduate Veterinary Physiotherapists.
  • Planning, designing and delivery of student assessments followed by marking and moderation of student work in line with Hartpury University’s quality assurance processes.
  • Requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.

About You

  • You will be a dynamic, professional and experienced RAMP registered Veterinary Physiotherapist with post‑qualification industry experience.
  • Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete a teaching development programme.
  • Highly motivated, self‑reliant and enthusiastic and passionate about delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning and student experience to our veterinary physiotherapy students.
  • A record of strong interpersonal, communication and team working skills, also the ability to manage your own time.
  • Teaching and assessing/coaching experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Have post‑qualification/industry experience within the subject field, with research practice being advantageous.
  • Evidence of engagement with research and scholarly activity and a willingness to further develop and contribute to this area as a university academic.
