Support the delivery of Hartpury's sustainability strategy during a period of maternity cover:
- Focusing on utilities, energy management and estates operations to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact
- Monitor and support reporting on carbon emissions, sustainability data and performance
- Contribute to initiatives across waste, recycling, biodiversity, transport and space management
- Embed sustainability into capital projects, procurement and operational practices
- Deliver behaviour change and awareness campaigns across staff and students
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainability objectives
Qualifications
- Proactive and solutions‑focused, with a passion for sustainability
- Collaborative and confident working across diverse teams, departments and stakeholders
- Analytical and detail‑oriented, with the ability to collect, manage and interpret data effectively
- Good understanding of sustainability issues, including carbon emissions, energy, utilities and waste management
- Experience managing utilities, invoices and associated data
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively with staff and students
- Competent with IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
