Hartpury University is looking for an individual to deliver and enhance learning, teaching and assessment across undergraduate level, within the field of physical activity and exercise physiology. This includes delivery in the sport and exercise science disciplines, specifically physical activity and sport and exercise physiology, in both classroom and laboratory environments. The role includes academic administrative duties, including module leadership, and as such, the successful candidate will have demonstrated a track record for supporting a high-quality student experience. This requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience.
About You
- Has a relevant sport and exercise postgraduate qualification.
- Ideally, you will be near completion of a level 8 qualification or have equivalent professional standing in a relevant subject area.
- An emerging track record of active engagement in scholarship, research and knowledge exchange.
- Experience of applied sport and exercise physiology, achieving recognized Professional Body certification such as CASES.
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete one within two years of appointment.
- Able to provide evidence of making a positive contribution to student outcomes.
- Willingness to engage with external partners and industry connections.
