Overview
Lecturer in FE Sport & Exercise Science – £24,332 – £42,526 per annum • 37 hours per week • Fixed Term to cover maternity leave, starting January 2026
Responsibilities
- You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching on our BTEC Level 3 Sport & Exercise Science programme which will assist students to achieve excellent results
- As a personal tutor, you will advise and guide individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations
- Inspiring students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of sport, you will instill in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding
- We welcome applications from unqualified, newly qualified and experienced teachers
Qualifications and experience
- Hold a teaching qualification or have a willingness to complete one
- Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
- Be able to demonstrate experience of delivering on the new Regulatory Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 3 BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science within the FE sector would be advantageous
- A strong understanding of the requirements of delivering externally assessed modules on the above qualification
