Overview

Lecturer in FE Sport & Exercise Science – £24,332 - £42,526 per annum • 37 hours per week • Fixed Term to cover maternity leave, starting January 2026

Responsibilities

  • You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching on our BTEC Level 3 Sport & Exercise Science programme which will assist students to achieve excellent results
  • As a personal tutor, you will advise and guide individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations
  • Inspiring students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of sport, you will instill in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding
  • We welcome applications from unqualified, newly qualified and experienced teachers

Qualifications and experience

  • Hold a teaching qualification or have a willingness to complete one
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of delivering on the new Regulatory Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 3 BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science within the FE sector would be advantageous
  • A strong understanding of the requirements of delivering externally assessed modules on the above qualification
