Sales Manager – Diagnostic and Laboratory products
The role
- Leading and mentoring a national, multi-disciplinary sales team
- Managing key global customers and major distributors (including approx. 60 high-value partners)
- Driving strategic growth into new markets and product categories
- Supporting the launch and commercialisation of new diagnostic and environmental testing products
- Contributing directly to company strategy alongside R&D, Regulatory, Finance and Operations
- Engaging with major £1BN+ global organisations and high-value diagnostic customers
- Although global in reach, travel is minimal (primarily key exhibitions and select customer visits, with the team handling most events)
The person
- Strong commercial experience within diagnostics, medical devices, or laboratory products
- Deep understanding of validation, procurement, and sales cycles within hospitals and labs (NHS, EU, or US)
- Confidence selling niche, high-value, scientifically validated products
- Experience working with distributors and managing large international accounts
- Energy, ambition, and a genuine desire to make an impact
- A big‑business mindset, but ready to move faster and own more
