Hartmann Young are partnered with a leading CRO in early-phase clinical trials to appoint a senior leader to own and optimise participant recruitment and engagement across a global portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end participant lifecycle: identification, attraction, enrolment, retention
  • Deliver recruitment targets on time and within budget across multiple studies
  • Own and track KPIs, forecasting, and participant flow metrics (incl. screening failures)
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruitment strategy, processes, and systems
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment
  • Oversee recruitment platforms, CRM, and data-driven decision making
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, GDPR, and regulatory standards
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships (incl. NHS, NIHR, KOLs)
  • Own recruitment budgets and contribute to commercial delivery

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in clinical trial recruitment (CRO preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Proven ability to deliver against recruitment targets and KPIs
  • Experience working with NHS sites and external partners
  • Solid understanding of clinical research regulations (GCP)
  • Background in Life Sciences or related field
