Our client, a mid-sized Contract Research Organisation (CRO), is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage global clinical trials, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and data management, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively implement corrective actions to ensure milestones are met.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, and resources to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a high-performance project management culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 6–8 years of clinical research experience in a CRO.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within a CRO.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and global clinical trial regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
