An innovative and globally active organisation in the life sciences and diagnostics sector is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead a specialised product portfolio within the infectious disease diagnostics space. This individual will act as the subject matter expert for the product portfolio, working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, R&D, and business development teams to shape product strategy, support global customers, and drive portfolio growth. The role operates in an international environment, collaborating regularly with colleagues across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of a specialised diagnostic product portfolio
- Support portfolio strategy development through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities and portfolio improvements
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, collaborating closely with R&D and commercial teams
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the infectious disease field
- Monitor global sales performance and identify growth opportunities and potential risks
- Develop and deliver training for internal commercial and technical teams
- Contribute to the creation and execution of annual marketing and portfolio development plans
- Support the development of sales tools, training materials, and marketing collateral
Experience & Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Biochemistry or a related life sciences discipline
- 7+ years’ experience in the life sciences or diagnostics industry
- Background in product management, marketing, or commercial roles
- Understanding of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and/or antibody-based technologies
- Experience engaging with scientific stakeholders or key opinion leaders
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
