Owing to significant project wins we are growing our fantastic Client Partnerships team and are looking for a Client Partnership Executive to join Hartmann Young. This is a 180/270 recruitment role with a difference. One of our core services here is delivering on project build outs for our Life Science Clients as they scale. Rather than running a traditional 360 desk, you’ll work closely with some of our most important clients, supporting key accounts, retained searches and larger talent projects across the Life Sciences sector. The role sits at the heart of the client and candidate experience — combining high-quality sourcing and delivery with account development, project management and relationship building.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Partnering with key clients supporting hiring plans, priorities and talent challenges
- Delivering against retained, exclusive and project-based searches
- Identifying, engaging and managing high-quality candidates
- Creating an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process
- Supporting client meetings, reporting, market mapping and talent insight
- Working closely with our 360 consultants and senior leadership team on strategically important accounts
- Supporting projects that may span multiple functions and, at times, sit outside a single Life Sciences vertical
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll need previous Life Sciences experience, alongside a background in either recruitment/search or B2B sales. This could be an ideal move for an experienced and successful recruiter who enjoys the relationship, delivery and advisory side of recruitment but wants to step away from the traditional 360 model. You might be someone who loves finding great people, building long-term relationships and becoming genuinely embedded with clients — without wanting your role to revolve around constant new-business generation. We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive, credible with clients/candidates and genuinely cares about the quality of the experience we provide.
Why HY:
At Hartmann Young, we’re continuing to build a model that feels less like a traditional recruitment agency and more like a long-term human capital partner to the businesses we work with. We are a high-performing boutique business with an adult-to-adult culture, built on trust, accountability and mutual respect. We give people the autonomy to own their work, make decisions and manage their responsibilities without unnecessary hierarchy or micromanagement. In return, we expect high standards, strong personal accountability and a genuine commitment to delivering for clients, candidates and colleagues. Our environment is ambitious and performance-led, but not at the expense of culture. We value people who are collaborative, commercially minded and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership. As a boutique business, you will have direct access to senior leadership, the opportunity to influence how we work and the ability to make a visible impact. We combine that agility with the infrastructure, technology and development support you would expect from a much larger organisation. It is a culture for people who want to be treated like adults, trusted to perform and recognised for the contribution they make.
