Hartmann Young is partnered with a fast-growing, premium raw health ingredient distributor supplying the dietary supplement, nutrition and functional food markets. The business works with science-led, high-quality ingredients and is expanding rapidly across the UK and Europe. This is a key commercial hire for someone who understands how ingredients are specified, sold and scaled into finished products.
As Sales Manager, you will own UK commercial performance, driving growth with brands, contract manufacturers and formulators across supplements, functional foods and wellness. You will be responsible for:
- Winning new business with supplement brands, CMOs and product developers
- Managing and expanding key customer relationships
- Selling a portfolio of premium, functional and health-driven ingredients
- Leading commercial negotiations, pricing and contract terms
- Working closely with technical, supply chain and leadership teams
- Identifying new market opportunities and ingredient applications
- Representing the company at industry events, customer visits and trade shows
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands the ingredient side of the nutraceutical chain. You will ideally bring:
