I'm working with an exceptional YC-backed InsurTech in London that's gone from £0 to multi-million ARR in just 12 months and is looking for Product Engineers to join their founding engineering team.
Despite being early-stage, they're already punching well above their weight – with major UK insurers onboarded and serious production systems live at scale. This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground floor of something special.
What you'll be doing:
- Building the core platform that powers end-to-end insurance claims processing
- Working directly with founders, internal teams, and external customers
- Taking real ownership over technical decisions and product direction
- Shaping the engineering culture and technical standards from day one
- Building features that directly impact major enterprise customers
The tech:
- Next.js
- Node.js
- TypeScript / React
- GCP
- Postgres
What's in it for you:
- ~£90,000 - £165,000 base salary + meaningful equity
- Direct impact on product and company direction
- Work with experienced founders backed by Y Combinator
- Visa sponsorship available
- Based in London (30 remote days per year)
What they're looking for:
- Strong full-stack experience with a frontend lean
- Commercial experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js
- Someone who thrives in high-intensity, fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong communication skills – comfortable working directly with users
- A builder who wants ownership and to ship fast, not just complete tickets
