We’re recruiting a Testing & Development Technician to join a growing product development team working on fragrance, hygiene, and dispensing products used in commercial environments. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys testing physical products, working with data, and being involved in a wide variety of day‑to‑day activities. If you’re curious, practical, and enjoy learning on the job, this could be a great opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll support the testing, development, and improvement of both existing and new products, including competitor products.
- Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out qualitative and quantitative product testing
- Measuring and analysing weight loss over time and product performance
- Using Excel to calculate percentages, variances, and create graphs
- Writing test reports with clear conclusions and recommendations
- Supporting quality assurance and incoming product checks
- Managing and organising product samples
- Conducting competitor product analysis
- Supporting cross‑functional teams when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised testing environment
This is a varied role where flexibility and initiative are important.
