Our client, a well-established and people-focused business based in Romsey, is looking to recruit a Purchasing Analyst to take ownership of day-to-day stock ordering and inventory management. The Role
This is a busy and varied position, working closely with the Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability. Key responsibilities include:
- Placing, progressing, and chasing purchase orders
- Demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management
- Analysing stock data to optimise inventory levels and reduce inefficiencies
- Monitoring and maintaining correct stock levels to meet business requirements
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers
- Supporting cross-functional teams with accurate purchasing and stock data
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a Purchasing, Buying, Supply Chain, or Analytical role. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to tight deadlines. Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics BC ERP system would be a distinct advantage.
