Our client is seeking a motivated and pro-active Manufacturing Engineer. This is a really exciting opportunity to work for a successful international company who design and manufacture a range of components and products for a variety of industries. The focus is on quality and there is scope to have real influence in introducing new systems and techniques.
The Role
You will play a key role in seeing existing and new products into production. Collaborating with relevant teams, you will ensure that products are fit for purpose and meet high standards. Duties will include:
- Quickly spotting and resolving any issues in the manufacturing process
- Conducting process experiments
- Researching and recommending efficient new manufacturing technologies and techniques
- Clearly communicating your ideas, investigations and findings
- Maintaining robust and cost effective manufacturing processes
- Spearheading new techniques and the semi-automation and automation projects
The Ideal Candidate
Engineering studies and relevant experience ideally from a mainly mechanical background is required to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have insight into different manufacturing techniques and be able to demonstrate examples of where you have employed industry standards in previous roles. To be successful in this role, you will have a driven personality, a keen eye for detail, work to high standards and be someone who gets excited at the prospect of researching and learning new approaches and skills.
