6 Month Fixed Term Contract. Our client, a well-established global organisation based just outside Southampton, is seeking an ERP Supply Chain Consultant to support a key ERP implementation project. This role will play a critical part in supporting the rollout and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central, with a particular focus on supply chain, purchasing, and planning processes. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong ERP system knowledge and supply chain experience who can quickly add value within a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central across supply chain and operational functions
  • Deliver the new ERP system to Europe
  • Supporting system testing phases, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the system supports operational requirements
  • Maintaining accurate system data including supplier information, product data, pricing, and lead times
  • Collaborating with teams across supply chain, purchasing, and operations to ensure processes are effectively embedded within the ERP system
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through better system utilisation
  • Supporting system adoption, troubleshooting, and documentation during the implementation phase
  • Managing workload independently while reporting to a European-based line manager

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous office-based experience is essential
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Business Central or other ERP systems
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system rollouts, or process improvement projects
  • Background in supply chain, purchasing, demand planning, or operations
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret operational data
  • Confident communicator able to work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities within a project environment
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced implementation setting
