We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Administrator to work for our Segensworth based client. This is a busy role working as part of a small team that will require someone with excellent administration skills and good attention to detail. You will be responsible for coordinating the shipping of deliveries and taking a proactive approach to problem solving will be essential. This Company are a global organisation who specialise in engineering and technical products, so this offers a good opportunity to join an industry leading business. This role is expected to be for around 1 year, may go on for longer.
This is a very involved position where you will be working within a busy team and be responsible for a range of shipping processes from inception to completion. You will be liaising with a variety of people including delivery couriers and customers. You will also be required to update computerised systems, including use of MS Word and Excel to generate documentation and keep track of items sent for shipping.
- Inputting packing information into an MRP system to produce Certificates of Conformity, packing slips and invoices for deliveries
- Inspecting and signing certificates of conformity
- Shipping products electronically via UPS, TNT, Fed Ex etc
- Producing and filling freight forms
