Casual Community Hub Assistant

Hartlepool Borough Council’s Community Hubs have gone through an exciting period of change and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us drive forward our next chapter and ensure we meet the needs of the local community.
As the welcoming face of our Community Hubs, the successful applicants will provide a friendly and efficient service to our residents, being able to signpost them to appropriate services within our venues and across Hartlepool.
The applicant will therefore have exceptional interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting the local community.
The Community Hubs are home to Hartlepool’s library service.
Successful candidates will use their excellent organisational skills to support in all aspects of the day-to-day delivery of the library offer.
They will also support residents who wish to enrol onto courses delivered by our Jobs & Skills team.
The post holder will be part of an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated team, engaging with people from all communities and Voluntary and Community Sector groups.
