To provide general secretarial support to the practice manager, doctors and health professionals involving audio typing, referrals to secondary care using NHS e-referral service and general clerical duties. We are a busy, single site, SystmOne, training practice providing services for 13,200 patients. General practice is a challenging environment that requires a flexible and calm approach with the ability to multitask.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Lexacom Echo software, processing electronic referrals and work lists using the NHS electronic referral system (eRS) with a good knowledge of medical terminology. The candidate must be able to prioritise the urgency of the workload. The candidate will be a highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills and undertake a variety of administrative duties including clerical support to clinical staff with audio typing.
