About The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious candidate to join our team as a teacher and programme lead for Engineering. The successful candidate will work in a thriving department that delivers T Level and vocational programmes at level 3. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic specialist with excellent pedagogical skills and industry knowledge and experience.

About You

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator committed to delivering high‑quality learning experiences. In this role, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging teaching and learning activities, ensuring students meet their academic goals and progress toward future careers. You will focus on creating an excellent student experience, fostering a supportive learning environment, and ensuring positive student outcomes and successful destinations after studies.

Essential Skills

  • Appropriate degree and a teaching qualification is desirable; candidates without a qualification who are willing to work toward obtaining one will be considered.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prior experience working within the Engineering sector.
  • Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset to support all students throughout their learning journey.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BTEC and T Level specifications and requirements.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of employer contracts for industry placement opportunities.
