We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join the Housing section of the Strategic Asset Management Team as a Housing Officer within the Place section to provide an effective repairs and void management service and contribute to the delivery of new social housing development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an effective repairs and void management service.
- Conduct void inspections, HHSRS inspections and stock condition surveys.
- Deliver a high‑quality repairs service, including tenancy enforcement.
- Support the development and delivery of new build affordable housing projects for the Council.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced and motivated individual with proven experience of repairs and void management.
- Approachable, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about delivering excellent property‑related services to tenants.
- Self‑motivated with strong organisational skills to prioritise a demanding workload in a busy environment.
- Maintain high standards in service delivery across all aspects of the role.
