Job Details
We have an exciting opportunity for a housing professional to join the Housing Advice Team as a Housing Advice / Homelessness Officer within the Housing, Growth and Communities Department. The Housing Advice and Homelessness Team offers advice, guidance and support to prevent and alleviate homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Work with a wide range of clients experiencing housing problems.
- Understand the complexities of working with vulnerable people.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of needs and homelessness legislation.
Qualifications
- Experience working with vulnerable people.
- Resilient, patient and empathetic.
- Support clients to secure and sustain a tenancy.
- Experience working with adults and helping them on their journey to independent living.
