Are you a highly motivated fitness professional looking for your next challenge? Would you like to join an existing team of fitness professionals to deliver exercise classes to our Active Hartlepool customers? We have just the opportunity for you!

We are looking to employ casual sports coaches / fitness instructors of various disciplines to work across the Active Hartlepool service. It is an exciting time to be joining the Active Hartlepool team! Active Hartlepool currently operates across Headland Sports Centre, Brierton Sports Centre and Summerhill Country Park, with our Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub set to open 22nd of June, marking an exciting new chapter in our provision.

What is the job?

  • You’ll be working across the Active Hartlepool service to deliver group exercise classes to our customers.
  • As well as having the opportunity to work within our gyms.

What do I need?

  • Passionate about helping people become active
  • Energetic, positive and great at engaging others
  • Qualified to Level 2 in a sport or fitness discipline (or equivalent)
  • First Aid trained and educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • Flexible, proactive and happy to work as part of a team
  • Keen to learn, grow and try new things
