Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking suitable applicants to join the Waste Services Team as a Refuse Operative on a casual basis. The main duties for this post will be carrying out programmed/scheduled works, which will include:

  • Collection, removal and disposal of domestic waste (including food waste)
  • Collection, removal and disposal of commercial waste
  • Collection, removal and disposal of recycling from various locations

The successful candidates will encourage, advise and educate residents to participate in the authorities' recycling and waste management schemes.
