Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking suitable applicants to join the Waste Services Team as a Refuse Driver on a fixed term contract 37hpw (until 15.11.2026).
Responsibilities
- Collection, removal and disposal of domestic waste
- Collection, removal and disposal of commercial waste
- Collection, removal and disposal of recycling from various locations
The successful candidates will supervise and direct the crew alongside being responsible for their safety and that of the general public. They will also encourage, advise and educate residents to participate in the authorities recycling and waste management schemes.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have a full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- Alongside a valid CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
