Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Street Lighting Electrician to play a lead role in the provision of the lighting service, including the installation and maintenance of street lighting assets.
An ability to undertake maintenance, servicing, testing, repair, fault diagnosis and installation of street lighting infrastructure are key elements of the role.
The successful candidate will have experience of working on the adopted highway and in a public lighting environment, and also be able to deal with members of the public effectively.
The ability to work independently, help the team to achieve relevant targets/ deadlines and a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements are all essential elements of the role.
