A special purpose machinery manufacturer has asked us to find an ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to join an experienced team of Design Engineers - developing the electrical hardware designs for new machinery, and upgrading the electrical aspects of existing machines. Well-funded, growing, with international orders, this is a company which likes people to develop long term careers and stay in what has been a very happy group.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing electrical hardware, PLC hardware, control panels, wiring schematics across the machine, specifying components such as sensors, drives, safety circuitry design.
- Using EPlan or Autocad Electrical to produce CAD Electrical designs.
- Helping to solve problems during the manufacture of the machine - modifying your drawings or designs to make it easier to build and wire.
Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer is required, along with knowledge of:
- EPLAN, Autocad Electrical, safety, EN13849, Control panel design or wiring schematic drawings and designs.
