An Electrician / Electrical Technician with the ability to undertake their own Electrical Test and Inspection of electrical installations is required to join a growing team providing industrial electrical installation and electrical maintenance support to many leading food, drink, and pharmaceutical manufacturers in this region. You will be given a company van to go to various customer sites in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire to perform your electrical test and inspection work.
You will be paid for travelling to site, working days only, 40 hours a week, with higher rate overtime available after 40 hours. You will be responsible for performing electrical tests on the site including power, lighting, control panels, fixed wiring, switchgear, and general electrical installations, while also reporting where improvements or new electrical installations need to be done on the site.
An electrician with 18th edition IEE wiring regulations certificates, and C&G 2391 or 2394, 2395 Electrical Test and Inspection certificates is required. You will be working days only, 40 hours per week, with higher rate paid overtime also available, plus 33 days holiday, pension, healthcare, and a wider range of benefits, working in an award-winning, growing engineering company.
