An Apprenticeship or some form of mechanical or engineering qualification is required, together with mechanical fitting, hand fitting experience. You might have had experience of building and assembling machines before-others in the team have backgrounds building conveyors, packaging machinery, production machines, machine tools, or the one- off special purpose machines that this company often builds.Sometimes you might strip the machine down, follow it to the customers’ site and assemble it.
