If you can read control logic/ PLC software, rectify faults, and maybe do some small PLC software adjustments or upgrades - great! Siemens PLC or Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley PLC diagnostics, fault diagnosis of factory automation, conveyor, machinery is the key to this one.

You will be supporting several Automated Warehouses - household names using PLC controlled conveyor, cranes, robots, packaging and palletising machinery, materials handling, sortation, stacking, picking and packing systems. You will be fault finding on the machinery, rectifying problems, using PLCs as a diagnostic tool, fault finding on electrical systems, drives, motors, and controls. You will also get involved with upgrade projects - modifying and sometimes helping to write new PLC software. This can be a chance to improve your PLC skills as you will be working alongside the Automation and Control Systems Engineers on these.

Salary: You will get a basic salary in the £40K's, paid overtime, extra on-call pay (1 week in 6), good benefits including 33 days holiday, company vehicle, and training and development when you need it.

Remote and site working: The vacancy is ideal for someone living in Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, or Cambridgeshire.
