An extra PLC Systems Engineer because of increased orders and plans to grow the company across the next 5 years. Working on PLC Automated Conveyor and Materials Handling Systems projects, this role involves:
- PLC Control Software Programming: Design, modifications, and upgrades.
- Site-Based Commissioning: installation of PLC HMI controls and electrical aspects of automation projects.

Responsibilities:
- 25% Office-Based: PLC programming and system design in Northamptonshire.
- 75% Field-Based: Commissioning systems at customer sites, working with small teams to ensure correct installation, software modifications, and customer training. Mostly UK site projects.
Skills Needed:
- Electrical and PLC software expertise (Siemens, Allen Bradley, ANY)
- On-site work capability
- Knowledge of machinery and automation
- Experience in warehouse automation, conveyors, packaging, or similar fields is a plus
Location: Ideal candidates are based near Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Leicester, Market Harborough, or Peterborough.
