Qualifications and Experience
- Hold at least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, which must include at least a Grade C/4 in Maths and English. (Essential)
- Previous exam invigilating experience within a school environment. (Desirable)
- Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting. (Desirable)
- Successful experience of working within a secondary school. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of ‘Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations’. (Desirable)
- Good behavioural management. (Desirable)
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to school improvement and raising achievement for all students.
- Able to follow processes.
- Previous administrative experience demonstrating strong organisational skills.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with related issues/individuals with tact, diplomacy and discretion.
- Ability to work quickly, methodically and accurately under pressure and act flexibly to support others and respond to unplanned situations.
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and students.
- Able to work under pressure and work to deadlines.
- Have the flexibility to undertake any role requested by the Examination/Data Officer.
- Willingness to support students on a 1:1 basis.
