Windham Community Memorial Hospital, Inc. (Windham Hospital) seeks a full-time Hospitalist Physician to:
- Provide internal medicine services to adult patients admitted to the hospital;
- Attend to medical needs of patients, admit patients to the hospital for care, plan and implement patient treatment programs, and participate in rounds;
- Work closely and collaboratively with referring physicians from the community to assure effective communication to optimize patient care;
- Develop, modify and maintain the highest quality 'hand off' systems between hospital medicine service and others involved in the care of the patient to assure a complete transfer of patient information in a manner combining written, electronic and verbal communication;
- Actively participate in, and help develop new programs, patient care activities, systems of care, and other activities.
