About Room One & Hartford Golf Club
Room One is a premium wedding, conference, and events venue set within Hartford Golf Club — a well-established, family‑run golf centre featuring a driving range, 9‑hole course, Pro Shop, Adventure Golf, Padel and golfers’ lounge. Room One has become a sought‑after venue in Cheshire. We are now looking for an ambitious and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team to new heights. As the Head Chef, you will oversee the kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences from day‑to‑day operations to large‑scale events. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standard
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Control food costs, inventory, and ordering
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and performance
Requirements
- Prior experience necessary
