Role Summary: As an Activities Coordinator, you will provide stimulating and meaningful activities for our residents. You will tailor these activities taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life while promoting and upholding residents’ privacy, dignity and independence at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Tailor activities to individual skills, hobbies and interests to improve quality of life.
- Create a happy and caring atmosphere, putting residents’ needs first.
- Provide a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activities tailored to the individual.
- Accompany residents to local country fairs, lead chair exercise classes, reminisce with residents about their childhood holidays, and conduct arts and crafts activities.
- Promote and uphold residents’ privacy, dignity and independence at all times.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
- Enjoy leading and organising activities.
- Be organised, sociable, and active; love bringing people together.
- Demonstrate a flexible, hard-working and caring attitude, with a desire to work as part of a dedicated team and show care and compassion at all times.
