Employment Type: Fixed Term / 12 Month Maternity Leave Cover
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced People & Culture Officer to provide advice to the group in relation to absence, health and wellbeing and a range of employment issues as required. Support homes to create a culture that promotes our values and allows individuals to thrive. All employees are bound by the company rules and the residents charter.
The People & Culture Officer will be responsible for the onboarding process of allocated homes, ensuring all systems, our website, and our e-learning platform contain relevant information and are up to date, and completing employment documentation in line with company procedures and ensuring the process is carried out in line with employment law, immigration law and CQC regulations. Travel will also be required to other sites within the Company as and when required.
We are seeking someone who has sound knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, particularly with recruitment and onboarding, and can support our homes and management teams efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and with different audiences in a friendly and professional manner.
Must be a driver and have a CIPD level 5 or working towards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice to the group on absence, health and wellbeing and a range of employment issues.
- Support homes to create a culture that promotes our values and allows individuals to thrive.
- Oversee onboarding for allocated homes, ensuring all systems (website, e-learning) are up to date and that employment documentation is completed in line with company procedures and legal requirements (employment law, immigration law, CQC regulations).
- Travel to other sites within the Company as required.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, particularly recruitment and onboarding.
