Responsibilities:
- Provide stimulating and meaningful activities for residents, tailoring activities to individual skills, hobbies and interests to improve quality of life while upholding privacy, dignity and independence.
- Create a happy and caring atmosphere, putting residents' needs first, and delivering a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activities tailored to the individual.
- Respect differences and recognise that staff and residents will have different needs in a varied role.
- Examples of responsibilities may include accompanying residents to local events, leading chair exercise classes, reminiscing with residents about past holidays, or facilitating arts and crafts.
Requirements:
- No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
