The Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experiencedGardener to join our team and maintain the grounds across our estates in a hands-on approach. This job will involve travelling between our 5 care homes throughout the Kent region. You will be provided with a vehicle and relevant equipment to undertake your role.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all gardens and outdoor spaces across the estates are held to the required standards. Youwill also be responsible for garden maintenance duties including, but not limited to, mowing, pruning, hedge trimming, and boundary cutting. The role also includes varioustree works such as planting, cutting down, maintenance, and hazard assessments.
The ideal candidate will have the relevant certification and training for the role, including being chainsaw-trained, have strong organisational and forward-planning skills to be able to manage and balance the needs of multiple sites, all while being sympathetic to the requirements of our residents, and have good knowledge of garden maintenance and associated equipment.
Requirements
Candidates must be able to travel to our different homes across the Kentregionas per the needs of the business.

Essential Qualifications
- Full UK driving license
- Robust and high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance experience with a keen eye for detail
- Chainsaw-trained
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- A flexible approach to working hours
