We have an exciting opportunity to join our People and Culture Team/ Learning and Development Team as Adult & Dementia Care Trainer, a role that blends your passion for people and care with your ability to make learning come alive! In this role, you will be at the heart of delivering training that makes a real difference, not just ticking boxes, but inspiring confidence in our workforce, building skills, and helping all team members to feel confident and supported in their role.
As part of this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging and meaningful training across a variety of care and non-care topics, including induction, refreshers, and ongoing development for 21 different locations across the South Central and South West regions.
- Use a mix of methods: from memorable face-to-face sessions, blended approaches, and online learning and support to create memorable learning experiences tailored to our evolving needs.
- Bring energy and clarity to every session, supporting a culture of compassion, professionalism, and growth.
- Update and maintain training and quality records in our Learning Management System (LMS) and follow up on outstanding training with the homes.
- Help build something bigger and better, bringing your creativity and knowledge to create impactful learning solutions.
- Create and share reports to support ongoing improvement and highlight areas of success.
- Create great relationships with all our team members and managers to ensure you are an approachable and valued “go-to” person when it comes to development.
What do you need?
- Education and Training Level 3 certificate or willing to complete this.
- Experience, knowledge, and passion working in adult care - formal training experience is preferred, but not essential.
- A friendly, professional approach, with the confidence to lead sessions and adapt your style to suit different audiences.
- A car and a driver’s license.
