Hours: Full Time/ 40 Hours
We have a new opportunity for an Apprentice Chef based in our care home. You will support our catering team based within our Care Home in providing home cooked nutritious and appetising meals, snacks and food for residents, ensuring good food hygiene is maintained at all times and regulations and legislation is adhered to. This is a 12 months apprenticeship with additional time for the end point assessment.
Requirements
- Essential: English and Maths functional skills
- Great organizational skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to work well with a variety of different people
- Collaborative approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members
