We are looking to recruit Bench Hand Joiners on a Permanent basis. This is suitable for candidates looking for a career opportunity within an established, family-owned business. The role primarily consists of assembling pre-machined panels using various connection methods but will also include laminating, hand routing, and, given the right ability, solid surface bonding, trimming, and buffing. Ideal for someone with strong workshop experience who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship.
We design, develop and manufacture our own bespoke equipment for the retail sector, and have a large, blue-chip customer base throughout the UK & Ireland. These customers range from discount retailers to high-end flagship cosmetic brands that all require different unique products. Our mission statement is 'Creating the Customer Experience'.
We have 2 vacancies in our busy Joiners Shop:
- Assemble pre-cut and prefabricated parts to form complete units using hand power tools.
- Work on bespoke builds using a variety of materials including solid surface, laminates, timbers, aluminium, acrylics, glass, and metalwork.
- Check all components supplied against cutting lists to ensure availability for completing units.
- Record tasks on our SAP system (training provided).
Immediate start. At least 2 years bench hand assembly experience is required. Strong understanding of timber, materials, and joinery methods is essential. Ability to work on own initiative with or without supervision and cope under pressure is necessary.
Working hours: 00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8. Overtime is available to meet production demands, paid at flat rate.
