The Company and Role Purpose

Harte Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with a well-established office covering Hull and Beverley, for this Property Manager position. A steady portfolio. Proper support. A role where you can manage tenancies without being dragged into constant firefighting. Working in an established team of Property Managers, it’s a busy, growing branch with around 400 units, but the focus here is quality of service, not just volume.

As Property Manager, you’ll take ownership of around 150 properties, working in and out of the office in properties and where maintenance is largely handled for you, so you can focus on managing tenancies properly and keeping landlords happy.

The Package

  • £28,000 - £33,000 basic (DOE)
  • 4% bonus potential
  • £500 bonus on completion of CELAP
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 24 with service)
  • NEST pension
  • Subsidised parking
  • Monday to Friday only, 37.5 hours per week
  • 8am – 4:30pm flexibility to start later and finish later
  • No weekends

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of around 150 residential and HMO properties
  • Carry out inspections and property visits
  • Handle rent reviews and tenancy management
  • Oversee compliance including renewals and licences
  • Prepare and manage inventories
  • Work closely with a VA who handles most maintenance coordination
  • Build strong, long-term landlord relationships
  • Keep everything organised, compliant and moving

  • You’re an experienced Property Manager who doesn’t cut corners
  • You’re naturally organised. You don’t need chasing, reminding or firefighting constantly
  • You’re calm under pressure and can juggle a portfolio without it controlling you
  • You’re confident with landlords and know how to build trust, not just manage tasks
  • You take ownership. If something needs sorting, you sort it
