Harte Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a leading property specialist based in North Leeds, to find a Trainee Commercial Sales Agent. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in residential sales or lettings who is eager to transition into the commercial property sector.
As a Trainee Commercial Sales Agent, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of industrial and commercial buildings, working closely with a Chartered Surveyor and becoming a key support within the team. With excellent prospects for long-term career development, structured training, and the chance to work with a respected name in the property market, this position offers the ideal platform for a motivated individual to establish themselves in commercial real estate.
The Package:
- Up to £29,000 basic salary per annum (can go higher D.O.E)
- Annual discretionary company bonus
- Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Mileage paid at 45p per mile
- Excellent career progression with training support to become a Chartered Surveyor
The Trainee Commercial Sales Agent Role:
- Supporting the Chartered Surveyor with day-to-day tasks, client liaison, and property-related administration
- Conducting professional viewings of industrial and commercial buildings across the region
- Acting as the first point of contact for prospective clients, providing clear and professional guidance
- Managing a busy diary of appointments, viewings, and site visits in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting with sales and lettings activity on the commercial side, gaining exposure to transactions from start to finish
- Developing B2B relationships within the local property market and contributing to business growth
The Person:
- Residential Sales or Lettings background (desirable, not essential)
- Articulate and polished, with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
- Professional in manner and presentation, with the confidence to deal with a range of businesses
- Organised, reliable, and eager to learn the commercial property market
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
